Tips from V2W's Military-to-Civilian Experts:
Your civilian resume should only be-2 pages in length. Be careful not to
use military speak/jargon. Take your
military titles and job duties and make them civilian user/reader friendly. For
example if you work as a Unit Supply Specialist, you could list your job as
"Inventory Specialist". Also, spell out all military abbreviations and acronyms for the resume reader.
Don't forget to highlight any and all leadership
experience in your resume!
