Patient
Administration specialists ensure hospital and patient
information is documented, stored and sent.Primary responsibilities include supervising and
performing administrative tasks in the patient administration
area of an Army Hospital or other medical facility.
Possess a working knowledge of patient medical
eligibility programs such as DEERS (Defense Eligibility
Enrollment Reporting System). Skilled at preparing and
consolidating medical documents and files authorized documents
ensuring proper sequencing of forms. Knowledge of medical
terminology, anatomy and physiology.
Patient
Administration Specialists work as medical records clerks,
medical records supervisors, administrative assistants in
hospitals, clinics, doctor and dentist’ offices. They can also
teach in medical related courses such as medical records,
medical terminology, anatomy and physiology in secondary career
colleges and schools.
Native Language Speaker/Interpreter
Interpret/Translate languages.
Possess native language ability, and ability to perform
translation and interpreter duties.
Civilian native language interpreters work as legal interpreters
for courts and law firms, government agencies and teach language
courses in elementary, junior high, high school and colleges and
career schools and in language related training schools.
Diver
Inspect, clean and repair ship hulls, salvage sunken
equipment, patrol, assist in underwater construction, use
explosives.
Scuba
diving, underwater welding and cutting knowledge, equipment
maintenance
Civilian divers work for oil and/or salvage companies,
underwater construction firms, police fire and rescue
Artillery Officer
Direct
firing of cannons, howitzers, missiles, rockets; use specialized
equipment to find targets.

artillery officers work as ordinance engineers in construction,
and ammunition storage supervisors.
Finance & Accounting Specialist
Organize and keep track of financial records, compute
payrolls and other allowances, audit accounting records, and
prepare payments for military personnel.
Knowledge/training and ability planning, organizing,
tracking, balancing, projecting, and disbursing military
finances, budgets, and payments.
Civilian finance and accounting specialists work as accounting
clerks, audit clerk, tax clerks, bookkeepers, and payroll clerks.
Administrative
Officer
Create and implement administrative plans, policies, and
procedures. Direct administrative support staff and services.
Establish records and forms management programs. Manage the
maintenance and use of facilities
Ability to analyze and solve problems, multitask, organize,

Office administrative officers work as administration
management, real estate managers, office managers, and in postal
service positions.
Cargo Specialist
Pack
and crate boxes of supplies for shipping, inspect cargo for
damage, load supplies into trucks, transport planes, and
railroad cars using forklifts, Load equipment such as jeeps,
trucks, and weapons aboard ships, using dockyard cranes, Check
cargo against invoices to make sure the amount and destination
of material are correct
Knowledge of operation and care of forklifts, power winches, and
cranes; knowledge of techniques for loading and storing cargo.
Ability to plan and schedule cargo shipments.Knowledge of safety procedures for handling potentially
dangerous cargo.
Civilian cargo specialists work as industrial truck
operators, stevedores, longshoremen, material handlers, or cargo
checkers.
